Let's begin by saying that we are all human and things happen. If we were perfect, we wouldn't be doing this challenge. I stated last week, #NoExcuses and being accountable. Own every choice you made and know how to manage through it (even if you plan to attend a homecoming celebration). Failure is not an option. So pick yourself, get yourself together, stop playing and #LetsGo. By all means, let's enjoy the journey together.

It's important to check-in so that you can be able to progress monitor your status, celebrate your success and support areas of improvement. With that said, take a moment and answer the questions in the comment section below.
  1. How was the first week?
  2. Any weight loss (how much)?
  3. Tracking meals/counting calories?
  4. Any walking or exercise this past week?
  5. Any triumphs or challenges?

To get it started, I'll go first.

1. How was the first week?
Cool. No complains and no regrets.

2. Any weight loss (how much)?
Yes, 4 lbs.

3. Tracking meals/counting calories?
Not like I should. I start off tracking, then somewhere in the middle of the day, I stop. Sometimes I don't know how to measure food when I am eating such small portions.

4. Any walking or exercise this past week?
Walking is good. I get at least 30 full minutes a day. I went to the gym twice last week. I got to increase that.

5. Any triumphs or challenges?
The triumph was the 4 lbs. The challenge was I ate 3 fried wing dings and had a diet ginger ale, even thought there were other choices. No worries, on to week 2.

Unfortunately, my first week was not good. I had to regroup and as of today I am now focused, therefore, I am a week behind. No exercising because in 2 wks I will be having a total knee replacement which is why getting this extra weight off of me is my major goal right now. I’m looking forward to my new life change and a new healthier me!

I'm down 2 pounds. I did not track every day and I fell off 3 times. No exercise was done. Now telling on myself makes me look in the mirror. It's real. And I have no excuses. Thank you.
